New York Genealogical & Biographical Society
Harold Campbell (deceased), our former recording secretary, was a member of this society. Harry Macy, Jr. (deceased) was a former President of the Underhill Society and a professional genealogist, who retired from this organization. Since 1987 and until shortly before his death in 2023 he was Editor of The New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, the second-oldest genealogical journal in the United States.
The Pequot War: A Television Documentary
We are pleased to announce that our documentary film Mystic Voices: The Story of the Pequot War has been completed and premiered on Rhode Island Public Television in November 2004. As you may know, Captain John Underhill is a principal historical character in the film.
